NOTES |
---|
Strontium ion has effects on the calcium content of the bones and teeth, but data concerning harmful doses of strontium carbonate are inadequate. Strontium carbonate occurs naturally in the environment as strontianite. The physico-chemical properties and its natural occurence as strotianite in the environment indicate also that SrCO_3 is stable and rather inert in its solid form. It can be expected that it is persistent and distributes mainly to the soil compartment. |
