	ACUTE HAZARDS	PREVENTION	FIRE FIGHTING
FIRE & EXPLOSION	Combustible. Gives off irritating or toxic fumes (or gases) in a fire. Risk of fire and explosion on contact with acids, bases or reducing agents.	NO open flames. NO contact with acids, bases, reducing agents or hot surfaces.	Use water spray, powder, carbon dioxide, dry sand, foam. Combat fire from a sheltered position.

	SYMPTOMS	PREVENTION	FIRST AID
Inhalation	Sore throat. Cough. Burning sensation. Laboured breathing. Shortness of breath.	Use ventilation, local exhaust or breathing protection.	Fresh air, rest. Half-upright position. Refer for medical attention.
Skin	Redness. Pain. Skin burns.	Protective gloves. Protective clothing.	Remove contaminated clothes. Rinse skin with plenty of water or shower. Refer for medical attention .
Eyes	Redness. Pain. Severe deep burns.	Wear face shield or eye protection in combination with breathing protection.	First rinse with plenty of water for several minutes (remove contact lenses if easily possible), then refer for medical attention.
Ingestion	Abdominal pain. Burning sensation in the throat and chest. Shock or collapse.	Do not eat, drink, or smoke during work.	Rinse mouth. Give one or two glasses of water to drink. Do NOT induce vomiting. Refer for medical attention .

SPILLAGE DISPOSAL	CLASSIFICATION & LABELLING
Personal protection: chemical protection suit including self-contained breathing apparatus. Collect leaking and spilled liquid in sealable plastic containers as far as possible. Technical product is sold with 40-60% of diluent (for example, dimethyl phthalate, cyclohexanol peroxide, diallyl phthalate) to reduce potential explosion hazard. An added stabilizer or inhibitor can influence the toxicological properties of this substance, consult an expert. Rinse contaminated clothing with plenty of water because of fire hazard. Other UN numbers 3105, 3107 for Organic peroxide.
