	SYMPTOMS	PREVENTION	FIRST AID
Inhalation	Burning sensation. Sore throat. Cough. Laboured breathing. Shortness of breath. Symptoms may be delayed. See Notes.	Use ventilation, local exhaust or breathing protection.	Fresh air, rest. Half-upright position. Refer for medical attention.
Skin	Redness. Pain. Blisters. Serious skin burns.	Protective gloves. Protective clothing.	Remove contaminated clothes. Rinse skin with plenty of water or shower. Refer for medical attention .
Eyes	Redness. Pain. Severe deep burns.	Wear face shield or eye protection in combination with breathing protection.	First rinse with plenty of water for several minutes (remove contact lenses if easily possible), then refer for medical attention.
Ingestion	Abdominal pain. Burning sensation. Shock or collapse.	Do not eat, drink, or smoke during work.	Rinse mouth. Do NOT induce vomiting. Refer for medical attention .

Personal protection: complete protective clothing including self-contained breathing apparatus. Do NOT let this chemical enter the environment. Collect leaking and spilled liquid in sealable containers as far as possible. Cautiously neutralize remainder. Then wash away with plenty of water. Separated from metals, combustible substances, reducing agents, strong oxidants, strong bases and food and feedstuffs. Well closed. Ventilation along the floor.

Immediate administration of an appropriate inhalation therapy by a doctor, or by an authorized person, should be considered. NEVER pour water into this substance; when dissolving or diluting always add it slowly to the water.
