	ACUTE HAZARDS	PREVENTION	FIRE FIGHTING
FIRE & EXPLOSION	Combustible. Gives off irritating or toxic fumes (or gases) in a fire. Finely dispersed particles form explosive mixtures in air.	NO open flames. Closed system, dust explosion-proof electrical equipment and lighting. Prevent deposition of dust.	Use dry sand, powder, carbon dioxide. NO hydrous agents.

PREVENT DISPERSION OF DUST!
	SYMPTOMS	PREVENTION	FIRST AID
Inhalation	Cough. Sore throat. Burning sensation. Laboured breathing. Shortness of breath. Symptoms may be delayed. See Notes.	Use local exhaust or breathing protection.	Fresh air, rest. Half-upright position. Refer for medical attention.
Skin	Redness. Pain. Skin burns.	Protective clothing. Protective gloves.	Remove contaminated clothes. Rinse skin with plenty of water or shower. Refer for medical attention .
Eyes	Redness. Pain. Blurred vision. Severe deep burns.	Wear safety goggles or eye protection in combination with breathing protection.	First rinse with plenty of water for several minutes (remove contact lenses if easily possible), then refer for medical attention.
Ingestion	Abdominal pain. Nausea. Vomiting. Diarrhoea. Shock or collapse.	Do not eat, drink, or smoke during work.	Rinse mouth. Give one or two glasses of water to drink. Do NOT induce vomiting. Refer for medical attention .

SPILLAGE DISPOSAL	CLASSIFICATION & LABELLING
Personal protection: chemical protection suit and particulate filter respirator adapted to the airborne concentration of the substance. Sweep spilled substance into covered plastic containers. Carefully collect remainder. Then store and dispose of according to local regulations.
